International KITE Festival
Dieppe KITE International is the largest festival of its kind in North America.
The world’s best kite fliers from various countries converge on Dieppe’s Dover Park during a busy week of activities in August to fly kites of all colours, shapes and sizes.
Dieppe KITE International was launched in 2001 and was held every two years. It became an annual event in 2010.
The festival owes a large part of its success to the collaboration between internationally renowned kite fliers. Their participation is proof of the event’s quality and the esteem in which of holds in the kite-flying community.
The festival’s main features – its kites – offer a unique and original experience that can only be found here. Kite disciplines vary greatly. They include, among others, extreme acrobatic kite flying, Rokkaku combats and creative kites.
The next Dieppe KITE International event will take place from August 14 to 18, 2013.
THE 2013 FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD AUGUST 14 to 18!

The best kite flyers in the world, from several countries, come to Dover Park in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada to fly multi-colored kites of all shapes and sizes in the sky above.
The first Dieppe Kite International took place in 2001. The goal was to offer an event that was original, full of colors and of international calibre.
The festival owes a lot of its success to the collaboration of internationally renowned kite flyers. Their participation at the Dieppe Kite International made it a first class festival and helped promote and market kite flying as a highly respected activity.
The Dieppe Kite International is now an annual event comprised of three types of activities: kite flying, community activities and cultural activities.

ARTISTS
Artists for the performances to be held in the parking lot of the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre on Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, will be announced on May 10th.
Dieppe KITE International is seeking artists or bands for afternoon performances at the Dover Park family site. Those interested should send their media kit which must include a demo or a CD, as well as biographical notes, by Friday, May 3.
